Preston Interclub Road Race
Preston Harriers Inter Club Race - Wednesday 12th June 2024
Preston Harriers will be hosting one of the Inter-Club fixtures on Wednesday 12th June 2024. This year's event has a new venue at Moor Park, Deepdale so please read the runners' instructions below to ensure clarity about the event's rules and location.

Moor Park – Please refer to the race map for further details The race start is close to the Rosemary café on the park.

Race HQ and buffet venue:
Deepdale Labour Club, 287, Skeffington Road, Preston, PR1 6RX.
Facilities
Toilet and changing facilities are at Race HQ, which is a circa 10 minute walk for the start.
Car Parking
A car park is available opposite the Preston North End stadium. This is a 5 minute walk from the race start point.
*There is no parking available at the race HQ.*
Runners are requested to car share as much as possible and to arrive early, allowing enough time to get to the race start.
Please try to avoid park in the surrounding streets and be considerate to local homes and businesses.
Race Numbers
Most runners will already have numbers. Don’t forget them! No number, no time.
The details on the reverse of your race number should be completed too, particularly if you have any medical conditions.
If you have not yet collected your race number, please link-in with your club coaches to facilitate collection prior to the event.
The Race
The race route is mainly on tarmac paths, covering 4 miles through and around the park. The park itself will also be used by pedestrians and cyclists so please be considerate of others whilst running. There will be plenty of race marshals along the route to provide both direction and encouragement.
The wearing of headphones is not allowed. Anyone seen wearing headphones will be disqualified.
After the Race
Water will be available close to the finish and there will be a buffet held back at the Race HQ - Deepdale Labour Club. The bar will be open!
Please ensure you only pass through the finish line once!
