St.Anne’s 10 Mile Road Race

Five Harrier’s battled strong coastal winds to complete race 3 of the road championship on Sunday, the St Anne’s 10 miler. Karl Hodgson led the Harrier’s home in 1hr04 to take maximum points in the male race, closely followed by Neil McDonald in 1hr06. Rachel Crowe led the women home in 1hr12 to finish 10th overall in the ladies race and take maximum points in the women’s club championship. Dorothy Parkes (1hr29) and Kari Edwards (2hr03) brought the team home on what was a challenging day to be out running.

The next two races in the series are the sold out Blackburn Winter Warmer on February 4th and the first of our 5000 meter races, the Central Lancashire 5k on February 18th.
