Wesham Summer 10k 24 May 2023
The Wesham summer 10k is billed as a no-frills, local race which offers value for money, and
it proved popular once again, with 257 runners completing the course around the lanes of
Salwick on a fine, sunny evening.
The race was won by Adam Wilding of the host club in a time of 34 minutes and 3 seconds. The first Harrier to reach the finishing line was Jamie Robinson, who was 2nd woman overall and 1st FV 35 in 38:08.

Mark Lee was 1 st V55 in 38:14, closely followed by David Watson, who was 2nd V55 in 38:30. Other Harriers to enjoy the scenic course and summer sunshine were Dougie Potter (52nd in 41:33), Michelle Chadwick (5th woman overall in 41:55), Steve Mort (43:46), Steve Needham (45:06), Matthew Suffolk (54:55) and Sarah Clubb (59:57).
