Preston Harriers’ Couch-to-5k - it's happening guys and gals!



Starting Tuesday 23rd July @ 6.30pm and running for 9 weeks, Preston Harriers will be running another Couch-to-5k course. This is an NHS approved introduction to running which will be beneficial for anybody new to the sport or returning from time away. 


The training sessions itself are free, all we ask is that after 3 weeks you join the club, which is a bargain at £16 for the year. 


The course will be led by UK Athletics accredited coach and run leaders so you really can put your trust in your training. It is a great chance to meet others and be supported every step of the way. 


The training itself will be tailored to meet your needs and ability, taking place around Avenham and Miller Parks. No special kit is required, simply a pair of trainers. 


It is well-established that running at any speed gets your heart pumping and increases your fitness, so you won’t feel as fatigued or out-of-breath. Running is also proven to boost our moods and leave us feeling more energised, so why not give it a whirl?
