Bernstein throws for Britain

Preston Harriers’ Alex Bernstein competed for team GB in the hammer throw at the Loughborough International on Sunday 23May, a key competition opportunity in the British Athletics Olympic Performance Pathway which aims to provide opportunities to prepare, confirm and support promising young athletes on their journey towards future Olympic success. Alex was there as an U20 athlete and all five of his successful throws were further than his previous best, setting himself a new PB of 67.04m and picking up a point for the GB under 20’s team which would go on to finish third overall on the day.
