Sat 21 Sept 2024, Stanley Park, Blackpool
A strong turnout of 17 Preston Harriers teams competed, comprising 67 runners in all age groups from Under 13 to Seniors. There were three top 10 finishes with the Senior Women leading the way in an excellent 5th position. In the juniors the Under 13 Boys finished 6th and the Under 15 Boys were 8th.
The Senior Men finished in 16th place, and with the Senior Women’s high placing earned them both a place in the National finals in 2 weeks time. This is probably the first time both senior teams have qualified together for some years.
Also making its debut on the day was a new club tent and flag, which all agreed stood out proudly in our club colours and logo. Many thanks to our sponsors Aegis, who have kindly provided the tent and flag.
