Mid Lancs race numbers and the chip timers will be available at the Preston Harriers club tent. If you`ve entered the Cross Challenge as an individual, then those numbers and chip timers will be given out at the large British Athletics marquee. The chip timer should be made secure on your ankle, so it can record your time when you cross the finish line. They will be collected by the officials in a holding area after the finish.
Please bring safety pins to affix your number to your vest, as they are often not included within the number envelopes.
The races attract larger fields than Mid Lancs fixtures, with competitors in the Challenge and Trial races travelling from all over the UK., so please allow time for your journey and to park up. You are likely to have to walk some distance to get to the competition area. Parking is on the perimeter of Sefton Park and the postcode is L17 3AL.
Travel Directions are:- From the end of the M62 to Liverpool, turn left on the A5058 Queens Drive. After approx ½ mile go straight over the Fiveways roundabout continuing on the A5058. Continue over next roundabout and on through traffic lights/signals. After approx. ¾ mile the A5058 enters Sefton Park and onto its perimeter drive.
